Australian National Cross Country Series Champion

Niki has sealed the National cross country series title with a win in the final round at Fellcrag in Qld.

This victory was complemented by finishing 2nd in the Australian National series for downhill. Niki has been a contender on the Australian downhill circuit for a number of years now, winning the downhill series in 2001.

For this season, following Niki's recent graduation from University with results that put her in the top 5% of her Bachelor's degree, Niki contested both the downhill and cross country disciplines. With her sights set clearly on a professional career as a cyclist, Niki will now spend the coming weeks in intense training, preparing for her international race schedule that will see her competing in North America and Europe.
